In a world that is quick to be cruel, this is a place to be a bit kinder, to learn from others and to increase our understanding of society and different cultures. This is the heart behind julietslibrary book club, a bimonthly reading group focused on expanding our literary horizons.

I started this group in a effort to have a real open forum about Interracial Love and Romance. This group is dedicated to real talk about the subject as much as it is to do about Authors and Readers, Open Discussion and thoughts on the subject in general are encouraged, maybe we can all learn something about each other and our shared interests regarding, Writing or Reading Interracial love and Romance. Particular concentration on Black Female and White Male Love, Romance and Erotica. Other Interracial Subjects are welcome as well.

[close] Discussion of antiracist books, starting with Ibram X. Kendi's How to be an Antiracist. We will also focus on the 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge and Medium's 75 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice.

[close] one of the most asked questions we get is "do you have any recommendations for _______" and so now here we are--a compiled list of all of the books that we have either read, or have heard through the grape vine that gives a pretty holistic and well-thought out approach to whatever topic you're interested in. take each book with a grain of salt, as we hope you do with most things, but we hope these books can open your mind to a world of grace, love and deeper/different perspective on life and the Spirit.
