[close] We are a Radical bookclub based n Ulverston, South Cumbria. We meet in person every 6 weeks or so, don't have immediate plans to move online, but wanted to create a group to log our read books and make note of the discussions we have had. We share radical literature, and ideas, and seek to understand the world through storytelling. Through poetry, fiction and non-fiction we aim to: - Understand and make visible the generations of struggle that precede us - Further our understanding of the political, ecological, and social crises of our time - Identify our assumptions about how society is organised, to think about alternative futures and and world building.

[close] This is for those who no longer believe in what they're told to think but believe in what they feel is the reality underneath. Everyone is welcome, from those known as Anonymous, to those who know what RBE stands for, even the Anarchist are free to strip everything down until there's nothing left. If you think about having ideas, if you actually have them, or you just want to be near them. Join this Group and we'll find them.

[close] The Notorious RBC is a collaborative initiative that responds to the need for an alternative, inclusive and non-commercial approach to books and reading. It will bring together a community of readers from around the world to discuss books that are unapologetically political, often left off the bestseller lists, and deeply engaged in narrating and envisioning radical transformative futures.
