Vampires and Vampire Hunters, locked in a centuries old battle. But finally, the Vampires had enough. Enraged at the murder of their Royal Heir, the Vampires willingly killed the US President at the order of their Lord. Vampires took over. Humans were enslaved.  "Everyone has a Darker side." The Hunters went from searching out Vampires and killing them to being just a small, Rebel group trying to free the Humans, one at a time.  But not all Vampires are evil, either. Not all of them see Humans like cattle. They have souls too, but some of them are black and twisted. But they're people. They don't all share the same ideas about humans.  "Which will control you?"

[close] A place by the name of Syrith was ruled by a group that thought themselves all powerful. They were strong, they remain strong, with bold powers and even bolder attitudes. This group was called the Locks. Another group, silently plotting to break from under the rule of the Locks was forming under the radar. These had less obvious powers, not always strong, some could even be considered normal if not for a flash of power every now and again. These had sly, secretive personalities. These were the Keys, as they believed themselves to be able to undo the Locks. Finally, there were the normal people. The everyday ones with extraordinary talents, or weak powers. The ones not seen fit to join either the Locks or the Keys. These are normally calm, kind people, but they are growing tired of the repression. They know that the Keys are no better than the Locks. They are beginning to fight back, to band together. Each of these groups wants control. Your mission is no longer merely to survive. Your mission is to win.

[close] It began long ago, centuries, with three werewolf packs. The Solar, Eclipse, and Lunar. They coexisted warily but peacefully. Until a rogue decided to stir things up. He kidnapped the Solar Alpha's daughter and the Lunar Alpha's son. The reaction was instantaneous. Each pack blamed the Eclipse, who were the only ones with no one missing, and a vicious war broke out. With two on one, the Eclipse pack was crushed. And now, they are no more. With Solar's harsh temper and Lunar's righteous fury at the loss of their Royal, the formerly proud Eclipse Pack was forced into slavery.
