[close] The South African Secular Society is a group of non-believers, secularists, humanists, naturalists and other irreligious people who strive to forward the cause of secularism in South Africa and provide a network for those interested in community without religion.

[close] Welcome to the Dare to Doubt book club! Dedicated to helping people detach and heal from harmful belief systems, each month we're going to read a book by an author who dared to doubt and then discuss it the next month. From cult survivors to former Christians to ex-Muslim apostates, we'll be focusing on the shared emotional journeys of different experiences in and out of faith.

[close] This a group for the discussion and planning of our local book club. Books will be announced two months in advance to give people time to attain and read the book. We will then meet at a local venue to discuss and share thoughts. We will likely read on a variety of subjects over time, spanning from science, activism, civil law and rights, secularism, and many more.
