[close] This is our reading group for anybody who loves to read and identifies as a feminist. We'll be reading a variety of books that may fall into one of the following categories: 1-Written by a feminist and/or a woman 2-Plot looks at how gender, race, class, sexuality, ability/disability, ethnicity, nationality, etc. shape us and our views of the world 3-Spark conversation about social justice and gender equality 4-Have strong female characters But most importantly, it's a space for people to come together and discuss literature with other feminists! Reminder: Self-promotion is ONLY allowed in the BLATANT SELF-PROMOTION thread. All other self-promotion will be deleted. fem·i·nist /ˈfemənist/ Noun A person who supports feminism. We will read and discuss books that are picked by the BookClub's leader-Kisha or Jordan-as well as the E-Board of the ministry. The books will be both fiction and non-fiction and they will all be Christian based. We will also have group study sessions where we will come together and discuss the books that we are currently reading.
