[close] "Everyone has a Secret." The wars began before the humans realized what was happening. Spats here and there, bar fights, murders. People just didn't realize what they were. Vampires and Vampire Hunters, locked in a centuries old battle. But finally, the Vampires had enough. Enraged at the murder of their Royal Heir, the Vampires willingly killed the US President at the order of their Lord. Vampires took over. Humans were enslaved.  "Everyone has a Darker side." The Hunters went from searching out Vampires and killing them to being just a small, Rebel group trying to free the Humans, one at a time.  But not all Vampires are evil, either. Not all of them see Humans like cattle. They have souls too, but some of them are black and twisted. But they're people. They don't all share the same ideas about humans.  "Which will control you?"

Until, finally, an accord was reached and those who fought on were forced into obedience. The rebelling nations were forced to comply. To cross-breed two of their own to another race. Send an heir to the designated race. Receive an heir from another. However, there are still those who yearn to rule all and to force others into subjugation... But there is trouble afoot, for on the border of Itola, a new Province has been settled; Kiloma, ruled by a royal family composed of a werewolf pack. The powerstruggle begins.
