What better way is there for us to taste the vast, diverse cultures of South Asian countries than to pick up a book and dive into the country without leaving our seats? As an ode to the South Asian authors who present readers with wisdom, entertainment, and a finer understanding of our identities, welcome to the group.

[close] An informal group to share and discuss books, new and old and classic alike, on Asian American identity, histories, lives, society, and politics. Please add books that you've found meaningful, interesting, compelling, or useful to the bookshelf! When you add a book, please add it to one or more of the shelves ("identity", "fiction", "poetry", "politics", "theory", etc). If none of the shelves are applicable, go ahead a create a new one.
