[close] Spurred by my new novel, MARS COLONY AGATHA: NIKKI RED, I've created this group to chat about all things space, the final frontier, and our favorite space-theme books. It's an exciting time because what used to be straight science fiction is quickly becoming real, and there are plenty of books and movies turning that corner. Though my book is set in 2022-2026 and is a few years ahead of reality, Elon Musk plans to establish a human base on Mars by 2028. That ain't far away at all.

[close] There are five habitable planets. Earth, which is inhabitable now. Persephone, a planet for the rich and powerful. This planet is full of lush green valleys and tropical foods. Xena, a worker planet. Where most people go to work, mining all of its natural resources for the other planets uses. Nuna, a small planet, no bigger than the moon. With harsh cold temperatures, but a great atmosphere. Voltor, a planet for refugees from the dying earth. Overpopulated and being destroyed quickly by pollution, this planet is similar to earth but more fragile.
