[close] 2150 -- Veil War, Year 50. The world is on the cusp of Apocalyptica. The Veil between worlds broke 50 years ago, causing the amalgamation of Earth and the Otherworld in an event now known as The Flood. In 2100, they came through unexpectedly - or so it seemed. The Hunters and Scouts who existed in the pre-Flood world knew, and tried to warn us as the signs grew in number and became more frequent. Human weapons and technology had been booming since 2020, and within 80 years the residual damage of testing the arms and warheads of our brave new world came to a head. The Veil was rent asunder, the Rift dividing the worlds was bridged, and the Old Bloods came through to join their younger ascendants. Earth and the Otherworld amalgamated into a warped, twisted planet. Major cities and larger towns synthesised with their counterparts from across the Veil. On both sides, less populated towns and villages disappeared entirely. Only a few cities on Earth remained entirely human, including the setting of this game: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Humankind and Supernaturals have been fighting for control over this brave new world for fifty years. In Human terms that's two generations; in Super terms, that's a blink of an eye. And on both sides of the story, so much can change in that amount of time. The Veil War has gone on for fifty years. In 2125 tactics on both sides of the Rift changed from full-on assaults with armies and platoons to small-scale guerrilla-type warfare with individuals and small teams battling it out for small pockets of territory. Out of this came the class system under which Factions now operate, wherein Hunters and Scourgers and their small teams attempt lead their sides to victory. But the Veil War has come to a stalemate, and now everything is balanced on a razor's edge. The Apocalypse has begun.

[close] Long ago, two worlds were created. One world was consumed of living and non living things made of pure evil. All crime is legal and very few laws are enforced. A cruel and vile leader controls this world. Many have not seen her but all know her name and know her ways. This world of pure evil is called Death Row. The second world was inhabited by all things pure of heart. Everything that lived and everything passed on pure of heart lived hear. Many laws stand to keep the peace and harmony with all. A great leader rules this world and rules it well. This world was given the title Shining Light. There is also a third world. This world was created by a third leader. This world is filled with both the good and the bad. A world where any creature living and not. This world was for those who wished to live with the other. This world was created to either be inhabited by those that can live together in peace or a world where good and evil may fight to see who is the better kind. This world has been named New Beginning. Now, my fellow beings, which will you choose? Good, bad, or neutral? Will the third world be filled with peace and well balanced between good and evil or will it be a world of war between good and bad trying to rule over the third world?
