We are here for the real literature. In Project Zomboid, while the world falls apart, a good paperback or hardcover is the only thing standing between a survivor and total despair. Spiffo's Reading Club is dedicated to identifying and reading every real-world literary reference found among the game's collectible books. From parodied classics to direct nods hidden in the descriptions of in-game literature, we are building the ultimate Knox Country library for your real-life bookshelf. Our Goals: • Track the Classics: Find the real-world counterparts of the "Literature" items (Paperbacks & Hardcovers) found in-game. • Combat Boredom: Just like in-game books lower your Boredom and Unhappiness, we believe these real-life reads are essential for every survivor's mental health. • Build the Collection: Aiming for 100+ titles that a true resident of 1993 Kentucky would have on their shelf. How it works: Our "Group Bookshelf" focuses strictly on fictional and non-fictional literary references (not XP multipliers!). Found a title in a nightstand in West Point that looks like a real book? Share it in our discussion boards! Grab a Spiffo burger, barricade your windows, and let’s start reading. Because when the electricity goes out, the story begins.
