[close] Achamoth is the dark Goddess of Wisdom - she is a bit like Hecate and Kali and she empowers the magical feminine inside us through Sophia - Wisdom and Shakti - Power. According to Gnosis we are all fragments of the Divine Spark of Light and Love and Wisdom trapped in this world of religious, political and institutional bigotry, ignorance and despotism. That sounds a bit far out. Well, you only have to look around you at all the horrible things that have happened in the name of nationalism, politics, religion since 9-11 to realize that this is an undeniable FACT. In 2012 I wrote my book about Gnosticism and the Awakening of the Divine Wisdom and Shakti within us which I published in Feb 2015 about two years ago. I am now starting a group based on that theme. Unlike all the New Agers and others however I believe that this Gnosis is not just all love and light and warm fuzzy wuzzys. It is also about using the darkness inside us, the anger, the pain, the loneliness and sorrow that we have experienced in life to help make us grow and to get the courage to fight those systems and ideologies of enslavement that have been holding us back more and more since 9-11. As such, this group is a BLUEPRINT FOR SURVIVAL IN A POST 9-11 WORLD, a place where group we will discuss the Wisdom of the old Gnostics, the path of the Indian Tantrics, the Power of the Witches, wise women and shaman and how that can help us create a new awareness not only of ourselves and our crippled society but also of the amazing interconnectedness of all life around us.
