[close] What is that lurking in the shadows? Come and roleplay as either the hunter or the hunted. In this roleplay you can either play as a creature, real or imaginary, or the human that hunts them.

[close] ~ "Humans even cage themselves, though their bars are made of society, not of steel..." ~ Anyone who loves the books written by the lovely Amelia Atwater-Rhodes; this is a group for you. The group is a combined discussion and role-play group, with most of the various role-play areas and places being based on scenes from the Den of Shadows series. You can create your own unique characters (in fact, please do), or if you wish you can request a specific character from one of the Den of Shadows books to role-play. Though anyone who feels they will enjoy vampire/fantasy role-play can join, it is preferable that you have read the books first. This is not a pre-requisite, but for those members who have not read the books, the information threads in the role-play folders are particularly important. :) Den of Shadows: The world of Nyeusigrube (the Den of Shadows) overlaps our own; its timeline runs alongside ours. The difference lies in those breeds that are not quite human, not quite mortal, not quite... us. They are the denizens of a world that is just a little darker than the one we claim as ours. Vampires roam the world, hiding in plain sight, as they have for countless millennia, since the time of Siete and Triste. In New York, many vampires live in or visit the "invisible" town of New Mayhem. Though both humans and vampires visit New Mayhem, there is never any record of anyone coming or going. Along with vampires, the immortal Triste witches walk among the mortals, and most are deadly enemies to the vampires. As are the Macht witches, mortal, yet almost as dangerous to the vampires as the Triste. Roam through the Den of Shadows as you wish, but beware... this world can be a perilous place.

[close] All animals finally live in peace. No worries to worry about until the dark times. The dark one will rise against the others to try and rule over them. To become queen of animals, the world! Until a young reckless cub is born she will defeat the evil one, but what will they do after the war is over after 25 years? If you don't understand here's an explanation- Animals are living like they did on this world that only they live on. The dark times are coming, a great war, and the dark one, an evil female feline, tries to take over the world they live on, but there is going to be a feline who is born 1 year into the war. She or he will defeat the dark one a 4 years after he or she is born. Only the moderators can be the chosen cub and the dark one. There will be a thread for the dark ones and the Rebels characters. Just be patient this is a new group!!!
