[close] Finding and adding new books to read is so easy and so tempting, there are more books than we can ever read in the world, but reading them is just a bit more difficult than that, and sometimes we need just a little encouragement, to make that tend in our To-Be-Read shelves. Join us on a journey to reduce that number and make room for more new books! Could not locate the author of the profile picture, if you know who it is, please let me know!

Several fun, mini-challenges will be added to the group to help inspire you. There is also a 'fun and games' section where you can chat while taking a break from reading. Please join us. [close] Welcome to Short & Sweet Treats! We are here to read books together, engage in discussions, and have fun. We play lots of games and read lots of good books! Each month, we will read a different genre voted by our members, at 200 pages or less. This is great for those who may have busy schedules and is also a good way to acquaint yourself with a genre you haven't tried yet. You may end up discovering you like a new genre you never would have imagined. Active participation is encouraged. But much like desserts and other treats, take what you want and leave the rest. Having fun is mandatory :)
