[close] The goal of this group is simple. All members will *try* to read a book of their choosing each week in the year 2018. Or, just 52 books in total. Several fun, mini-challenges will be added to the group to help inspire you. There is also a 'fun and games' section where you can chat while taking a break from reading. Please join us. [close] Welcome to Short & Sweet Treats! We are here to read books together, engage in discussions, and have fun. We play lots of games and read lots of good books! Each month, we will read a different genre voted by our members, at 200 pages or less. This is great for those who may have busy schedules and is also a good way to acquaint yourself with a genre you haven't tried yet. You may end up discovering you like a new genre you never would have imagined. Active participation is encouraged. But much like desserts and other treats, take what you want and leave the rest. Having fun is mandatory :)

[close] This group is those who wish to MASSIVELY REDUCE their TBR! Read alone and tell us about your progress, team up with another, or read the group book. The group will read a wide range of genres because we'll always focus on YOUR reading taste. So, bring your huge TBR list to the group! [close] This is a group for people of ALL ages that love to read young adult and middle-grade fiction. I am in my 30's (gasp!) and still love to read "kid" books. In fact, I go through them quickly, almost as if they were going out of style! I created this group as a safe haven for everyone and anyone who loves and devours these particular genres. We're all "young at heart" here. We will be reading & discussing 2 books a month as a group. Feel free to hop in and share your thoughts on our latest reads, plus anything else that comes to mind.
