Set in Ancient Europe, China, Australasia, Egypt, Sumeria, Babylonia, India, Africa, The Americas, Greece, Rome, Persia, Saxon, Arthurian, Viking and anywhere in between? Criteria apart from the time period is that these books must be romantic, sexy and may contain elements of adventure, intrigue, fantasy, magic, supernatural whatever. If you're into these kinds of books (Whether you write, read or both), join and discuss. There are two main threads, one for Writers and one for Readers. The Writers thread focuses on exchanging research information, discussing craft ad provides a thread for sharing promo info on books. The readers thread offers discussion of featured books, series or settings. Join and help drive the topics of conversation.

[close] Join the group specializing in Viking Age Historical Fiction and Viking Age History Books. We will be discussing historical veracity as well as the effectiveness of plot elements of various works. Occasionally, we will read primary source documents (such as the Sagas, or chronicles from Europe) and discuss their meaning/significance. This is a fairly academic group open to anyone who enjoys the Vikings.
