[close] Until 2010, a particular (super)human used to live on the Earth. His name was Donald Van Vliet, but later, the name which would make him (in)famous would be CAPTAIN BEEFHEART! Nobody really knows if he had a beef heart, or an ashtray heart for that matter. But, anyway, he formed some Magic Band(which, it seems, WAS a magic band!) a few decades ago, made music (if you want to call it that), and....well.......got famous, I guess.... And so here we are. With Beefheart himself gone, but his music still in the world, and more importantly, still moving, irritating, or entertaining people. And now here's a group on good ol' GR about him! So, yeah, if you're one of the entertained sort (the fans), or one of the annoyed and irritated sort (the.....well, non-fans?), this is the group for you to discuss his music, to state your opinion, and you can also discuss other kinds of music and other artists, whether they have anything to do with the Captain or his Magic Band or not, to state your opinion on that music and on those other artists, or to play games, or to make up some stories about bulbs and telephones and making love to vampires with monkeys on your knee or whatever else exists (or doesn't exist) in the world. In short, do anything here. Like, for example, stop reading this description that's gotten long enough, but keeps going on and on and on like it has nothing else to do (which, by the way, it seems, is true) and not stopping or taking a pause or anything and probably making somebody mad as mad can be, or maybe mad as insane can be or something, so that they start going crazy (which I doubt they weren't already) and just wish they could stop reading this thing, but I'm afraid they can't, or maybe I'm just assuming things that aren't really true, and maybe this sentence should end. RIGHT. HERE. (Man, I'm tired now from all this typing. CURSE YOU, BEEFHEART! XD)
