[close] Join us for a monthly book club featuring feminist authors and works. We're looking to form a community of people interested in learning about feminism as it affects the many aspects of our lives through books, reading, and discussion. Our goal is to build and strengthen the feminist community in the Prescott area, learn and grow from each other’s experiences and contributions, and create a spring board for feminist-centered, intersectional social change in our community and beyond.

Our aim is to elevate feminist thought and ideas and create a space for robust discussion. Each book selected will relate to one or more of NOW’s core issues: reproductive rights and justice, economic justice, ending violence against women, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, and constitutional equality. Our goal is to grow together by reading books from feminists and brilliant minds of all ages, races, gender identities, and backgrounds. Your active participation in the Feminist Public Square is not only valued but also vital to furthering this collective goal. Together, we will connect, learn, and maybe even shed a tear or two as we navigate the realities of confronting injustice. Ultimately, we will grow to be stronger feminists and better-informed allies to marginalized identities. These page-turners will spark conversations that will embolden us to be even more impactful in this intersectional feminist fight. Your voice matters here and the Feminist Public Square is where your differing opinions and thought provoking ideas can flourish for the overall advancement towards a true feminist reality.
