. Add a bit more to her description. What does her face look like? Is she slender, athletically built, curvy? What's her skin tone? Stuff like that.
. So, the extent of her personality is shy most times, bookish and loyal. Those seem a lot like positives. What are the negatives? Expand a bit more on her personality, please.
. So, her mother was killed by hunters. What happened to her father? How did she end up at the school if she didn't think she was a witch? How was she raised, aside from her having been told she was imagining being a witch? Elaboration would be nice.
. You've mentioned adoptive parents, but what about her father? Does she have siblings? This also ties into her history, so please work that out.
. to what extent can she control the elements? How strong is her ability to control light and darkness?

That would also make her an elemental witch, so you could add that to her species.

Currently, I don't know where I stand on the decision to leave or not. It saddens me that something that I was actually a big part of is sort of slowly dying. I understand we're all busy with our lives and such, but maybe we should just get this moving.

Jenn stated that new members were confused. If we're doing alternate reality stuff, then we should probably let people know of this in an announcement, or something of the like.

. for the appearance, please be slightly more descriptive, like put in her definite height without it being in parenthesises.
. personality seems pretty general. What is a "gothic" personality? Please elaborate on what about her personality makes her "gothic."
. please add more detail for history. What were these "creatures of the dead?" Do you just mean spirits of the dead? If so, please change it. Also, she would have been twelve when she got out of the asylum, so how had she been able to get along for that year in between? Even is she is smart, that doesn't ensure her survival on the streets.

How would she have harnessed her abilities in the asylum? She locked up there because people think she's crazy. They'd be keeping her under constant watch, especially with her being only ten years old. So, please elaborate on that.

In appearance, you state that she has scars. How does she get them? Maybe add that in to her history, or just throw in some information somewhere.
. Please tell us who her family is, even if they're dead. With that being said, how did they die? Does she know they're dead?
. what you have in Other can be moved to Personality.
. To what extent can she bend shadows and darkness? What are the dark elements? I'm not sure what sex appeal a fourteen year old has, but I'm guessing she has the power of persuasion, rather than straight up seduction?

I like that idea, Shuie, as it gives people more room to develop their character, but I think people will abuse that option.

So, this is mainly looking into the future characters and how we'll be evaluating them.
I think it would be best if we do as some groups do, where they have people start separate threads for their characters, and each of the mods goes and looks into it. I'm suggesting we do something like this for future characters because I've noticed that there are a lot of comments and reposts of the same character redone in the character thread and I'm positive it wouldn't be so long if we were to delete those.

Sometimes I go through to delete spam and I'm never sure if I should delete the critiques by the mods, as well.
