101372 I'm going to have to add these to my shelf. ^ _ ^ I've been reading stories that are not as 'in depth' sometimes. My coworker called some of the books I read on the level of 'bubblegum'. It's interesting but the craving/taste doesn't last.

Matthew - who is the author of the Hollow Series?

So so far most the three of us do like fantasy/supernatural. I used to read mystery, but for some reason I stopped without realizing it.

I've just recently started reading a few books that introduce those elements, but I can't decide if I really like werewolves or vampires or nephilim. I don't know how I feel about them. Any recommendations?

Yup! I just recently saw a quote that a friend posted.

"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one."

This kind of defines me in the moment I dive into a good book. I've only recently started reading and wanted to keep it up. I used to love books, but hadn't been able to get back into them just recently. My excuse was that I was in college, but now that I graduated I feel that can't be used anymore.

101372 As a little kid, I used to always read mystery-like novels. The Boxcar Children was my favorite series in first grade and then I eventually graduated to fantasy-like novels. I was obsessed with magic, dragons, and being able to combine the two. I don't think I have graduated from this phase, nor do I ever feel like I will.

101372 This forum is for anypony who has a recommendation for books that you would think other ponies would enjoy. My goal here is to have at least one book for us to be able to all enjoy and discuss together and perhaps even go see the movie to compare or have a coffee shop hang out.

101372 What is your favorite genre of book? Do you like to branch out and read different types or do you just stay in a certain one?
