I've looked through other Goodread book groups and found one where each member starts their own topic thread
The topic is the discussion thread for Mike Dooley's book: Playing the Matrix: A Program for Living Deliberately and Creating Consciously
This topic will focus on the discussion of Colette Baron-Reid's book, The Map: Finding the Magic and Meaning in the Story of Your Life
Well, here goes! Here is where my discussion started in our FB group when we decided to start this book group: This book is amazing from the start! I mean, just reading the preface and the forward! My two favorite concepts so far are: "This pathway is open to all who choose it. We all have different starting points, yet each of us guides the rudder by our own hands." And then: "We change the world not by what we say or do but as a consequence of what we have become." Wow!
This topic is where we will discuss Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior, author's Official Revised Edition by David R. Hawkins. It was recommended by both Colette Baron-Reid and Crystal Andrus of the S.W.A.T. Institute
I started with studying Meditation, Energy, Crystals, Chakras, Angels and Astrology before I found Oracle School! You know how that journey goes! Some through Hay House on-line courses, The Chopra Center, lectures, conferences and self study. So, it would be difficult to list all, but here are just a couple of my favorites! The Missing Element: Inspiring Compassion for the Human Condition by Debra Silverman
Invoking the Archangels: A Nine-Step Process to Heal Your Body, Mind, and Soulby Sunny Dawn Johnson
Astrophysics for People in a Hurryby Neil deGrasse Tyson
Dodging Energy Vampires: An Empath's Guide to Evading Relationships That Drain You and Restoring Your Health and Power by Dr. Christiane Northrup
Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One by Joe Dispenza

I was thinking we could set up a discussion thread for each individual book. It would give us a place to talk about the book within our group and members could add comments whenever they read it.We can have several active books or choose a specific one to read every month. Let me know what you prefer.
CBR did a FB live before Crystal's Personal Empowerment Coach Certification course started on September 10th. I thought I would bring some of her books into our group. I will add the 2 books I have started reading and look forward to hearing from anyone that has used her wisdom on their journey. Feel free to add any other books she recommends.
