Hi, I started reading Anthony Powell's Dance after reading Spurling's biography on Powell and the Backlisted podcast on Books Do Furnish A Room on Christmas 2018. I set myself the task to read one volume per month this year and I am on track. I am undertaking a doctoral research too and I see my research issues through Powell's lens even if he isn't obviously relevant to my work.
