This group needs "upright man among a thousand" or perhaps "one upright woman among them all." Ecc 7.28b

Good to find someone interested in discussing Qohelet. I have been closely reading and writing with respect to what I see and learn from this text for some time and can call it a true companion of life in all its meaninglessness and search for meaning in my middle life. I just was introduced to The Words of the Wise are Like Goads: Engaging Qohelet in the 21st Century (Eisenbrauns, 2013) at our local university library. I spent a good hour combing through it and found helpful essays various lens for interpreting Q.
