Hi Tony. The line between Thriller and Espionage is very complex. I can't tell whether my books are thrillers or espionage, or counter terrorism espionage thrillers. I don't exactly know which genre I fall into and its driving me crazy! Alan Kiernan

Thanks Chris for the invitation to this group. To all the other members, Hi, I'm Alan Kiernan. I live in Melbourne's outer east with my wife and three young children. I'm new to writing, but have done plenty of reading over the years. My first novel 'Section Alpha' was published last August and I'm about to release the sequel 'Fallout'. I invite you to read them and give me a review.

My first real introduction to a thriller, so to speak, would have to be the Biggles books when I was 10. From there I moved up to Ludlum, Clancy and Van Lust Bader. They have been the main influence on my style of writing and hopefully that shows through in the Section Alpha series.
