I, too, couldn't finish this one. The main character ambled around musing on different occurrences and occasional flashbacks.

Your recommendation convinced me to add it to my want to read list. Out of over 1000 ratings for it though, not a single review?

At about the 70% point I'm unsure about it. I feel like I am waiting on the main plot to start.
