Castle and Beckett have the same conversation in "A Death in the Family." - p. 51

6. Rook teases Nikki over the line "Go ahead." Castle teases Beckett in "Home is Where the Heart Stops," "That, uh, "Go ahead. I need the practice." That was classic."- p.54 and again on p. 131

I was rereading Heat Wave and I started to wonder if anyone ever kept track of the references to the cast, crew, or show.

I noticed three today and I know there were more.

1. Marlowe Building - p.21
2. Bree Flax, a true crime writer (Lee Wax in "Ghosts")- p.21
3. Nikki's speech on needing real facts - p.17

hmm maybe I'm just didn't get far enough into World War Z. I'll try it again after the other.

Nathan always mentions World War Z and I am going to guess with his love of zombie things that he has also read the Survival Guide.

I tried to read World War Z and I am currently reading The Zombie Survival Guide. I just cannot get into either of these. I like the Walking Dead and some other zombie type things but for some reason not these two books.

Has anyone else here read them?

I feel like I saw a Pippi Longstocking cartoon when I was little but I don't think I ever read the books.

I listed several on the actual bookshelf under Nathan (World War Z, Game of Thrones). I haven't made separate topics yet in the discussion because I haven't read them myself. Feel free to add a topic or suggest other books . :)

If anyone is looking for a book like the Derrick Storm Short Stories you should check out the Jack Noble books. Many of them are free or cheap on Amazon. I thought they were very close in stories.
