Okay, listen—2026 may feel like it’s far away, but my TBR stack and I know better. If I don’t start mentally preparing for next-year’s advanced reader copies now… I’ll blink and it’ll be release month for 37 books. 😭📚

So here’s the vibe for ARC Reading in 2026:

Books I’ll be hunting like a cryptid in the woods:
🔥 Shivery thrillers that keep me up past midnight
💕 Romances that make me clap like a seal
📖 Literary fiction that ruins me gently
💀 Classic retellings that whisper “emotional damage”

2026 ARC me is hydrated. She has emotional resilience. She writes timely reviews AND if you see me requesting 57 ARCs at once: no you didn’t.

I have reviewed and edited stories for a long time. I also work for a local newspaper.

I read everything but gravitate more towards historical fiction, autobiography, true crime, fiction and mystery/thriller.
