So it’s 1997 in this small town in Nova Scotia. A girl goes missing in the sea caves and comes back three days later. She's barely breathing, near death, and completely traumatized. Now her friends are starting to see some messed up stuff.
And her boyfriend?
He’s hearing voices.
Specifically one that says: kill her friends, or she dies.
It’s got cursed legends, missing kids, ghost trains, and emotionally unstable boys, and one boy with a switchblade.
Aka, everything I love in a book.
If you're into IT x Goonies x Stand by Me x Stranger Things, you’re gonna be obsessed.
🖤 Tropes included:
• Haunted small town vibes.
• Found family but traumatized
• Childhood trauma, but make it supernatural.
• Morally gray, broken boys
• Girls who fight back.
• The “wait—did that really happen?” type of horror.
It’s just under 500 pages, and I’m sending out ARCs between Aug 15–30.
The book releases Oct 1.
If you're down to read early and leave an honest review, link’s below. 🖤
