When it comes to a creative stasis, I just dig in and start doing some research on the time, the setting of the piece, the genuine facts to mix liberally with my fictional concepts & characters. History, itself, since when it comes to human nature there is nothing really new under the sun, usually supplies plot elements, or probable scenarios that jog the log jam loose. If it is a genre piece, of course, that is where you concentrate your expertise and research.

I hope to be able to contribute something for this group. If the inquiries are about writing, prose or poetry, I'm your man. But as a movie buff (life long), ex-pro actor, and teacher of the blind, as well as director of the Tacoma Film Club....I just do not keep up on current reading. So, we'll see how it goes.
