Thanks Archie. Rosangela sounds like a most interesting person, as do you. Wish we were in a situation where we could sit down at a Starbucks or other such place and have a lengthy conversation (or 2 or 4 or . . .). Give her my regards, and keep a generous helping for yourself. By the way, I love the new hat in your FB photo. I keep wanting to reach in, lift it off your head, and try it on mine just to see if it fits. :-) I'm very partial to hats.

It's an interesting problem (or challenge) Archie. I write it down, which fixes it in my mind's eye, then leave it for my mind to work on it until it begins to make sense. If what I'm writing is fiction, then I make it part of a conversation and let it work itself out in the conversation or situation.

Other things that I do, which you've probably done as well, is run an idea or a bit of written material by one or two or more people and ask for feedback: does it make sense to them? In what way does it or doesn't it? Suggestions for making it more clear? Then sit down and do a rewrite.
