1061736 This was an interesting story for me. I’m not the biggest science fiction reader, just because I haven’t come across a lot that I enjoy, not for a lack of interest. I really found the concept intriguing though the main character was a bit all over the place for me, and I can’t decide if that was due to her age or what she was asked to do. I loved the concept of each astrological sign having their own way of life and a planet that matched that. I could easily see this as a future tv show and I’m curious as to why it isn’t either that or a game or something.
Overall, I may continue reading the series but I haven’t fully decided yet.

1061736 I never put my thoughts up which is very unfortunate. However, in general I really thought that this was a great story for people who are getting into romance who want the cute stuff but also don’t want to get into the sexy time things. This story was a bit over the top at points but I absolutely loved the characters and the story here! I think I will give this author another try!

1061736 We somehow managed to keep the discussion of this to a small amount even though we all had feelings about this one.

To generalize what we thought:
~needed to be two movies, not one (we figured the perfect place to split them was right after the Ule Ball, which was a very well done and probably one of the best parts)
~the casting was A+++
~so much was left out, and we didn't meet characters who we felt were a huge part of the story
~the first two tasks were well done, but the third was a letdown, we are disappointed with the lack of creatures
~where did the ending go?
~where did the school aspect go?
~Ludo Bagman?? Who is that??
~the dragons were BEAUTIFUL!!
~the teenaged drama was amazingly well-done
~unfortunately, you do seem to need to read the book to understand everything in the movies which is unfortunate for those who don't want to read

1061736 So, finished this book and I have feelings! While I did have a solid feeling about what would happen, I was right on several parts and I was also wrong on other parts. I did have some parts where I was a little confused as to what was part of the dream world versus what wasn't, however, I would overall declare that this was very well written and I enjoyed it immensely!

I"m still wrapping my head around some parts of it, but I am curious as to how the second book is going to go. It almost seems as though there is one way and I fail to see how Sarai can get out of her current situation. Any ideas??
1061736 I'm getting sucked into this world and I am loving these characters so much! They are unique and each are themselves. Over a third of the way through and I've already had ideas about what will happen verses what has happened and I can't wait to see how where it goes!
