Callie’s comments from the Serpent and Badger Book Club group.

I found this a very unique story but I had some issues with it
I found the writing a little juvenile and needed some work, but I can see the talent and am excited to see where the author goes with this universe
Even though there was a love triangle I did not hate it because, in my opinion, the main character did not have chemistry with one of the love interests
I think that the Zodiac aspect was very unique and fun, and I found how the planets for each respective sign had aspects of the character personalities and responsibilities
Overall, it was really fun and has a lot of potentials I think the characters themselves and the plot itself needs a lot of development, but it has 3 more books to achieve that

So I really enjoyed this story for what it was... a love story. I did not care about the politics or the other aspects I was only there and loved our love interests and I was here for the secrets, royalty, and the different coming of age type of stories that this story followed. I did also loved all the sibling love that this book showed. I think that every side character was so much fun and added a lot to the love story.

This month is the book to movie review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! Let us know what aspects you missed in the movie and things the movie had that were not in the book! Really it an excuse to re-watch these films!
