On the other hand, safe for kids were the audiobook narrations of How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida. David Tennant narrated those.

Not safe for kids, but the Tales of Verania series had me laughing so hard I was crying. Yes, some might consider the humor to be juvenile, but I loved it.

I'm not a member of your library, but I'm in the middle of reading Ordinary Monsters right now! Very interesting and not what I was expecting!
