Just finished this one last night and I’m sorry I can’t go back to the story this morning. It was a good one!

The Gunslinger

This is the first in the novels that comprise King’s epic odyssey “Dark Tower” series. In it, he introduces the reader..."

The series improves!
One thing I liked about this first book is that there is a definitive line where the reader can see King’s writing mature. I found out after I read it that he started it when he was very young and picked it up years later to finish it. The reader can pick that up when reading.

Hi Sheri! Thank you for inviting me to your group. I do not live in NC but hope that I can participate anyhow.

106708 Hi. I’m Greta. I am a wife, mom, clinical informatics nurse and book lover.
I created a little free library in my office at work years ago and it’s been a wonderful way to connect with all sorts of people at our hospital.
I love all kinds of fiction and I sprinkle in at least a couple non fiction books every year too.
Im currently reading The Sun Down Motel by Simon St. James for a local book club that I participate in and it’s a perfect ghost story pick for October.

I look forward to being a part of this group and can’t wait to read some of your reviews - I’m sure I’ll be adding lots of new titles to my want-to-read list 😀
