I think I'm going to skim WS Baring-Gould's NW of W35th for some key landmarks since I don't have time to re-read the canon in advance. The Library is a good one, and yes I have Mysterious Bookshop tagged on my map for a visit!

I'll be in NYC this fall, and I'm interested in seeing any landmarks that may still reflect the Manhattan of 'prime' Wolfe ('30s-'50s)...

So I'm going to take a walk down W 35th, but are there any recommendations on extant places to go: a restaurant that was the model for Rusterman's, a newspaper building for the Gazette, etc.?
