As she heard that, Elizabeth grinned. "I'm not going to miss that for anything!" She looked at her ankle and muttered, "stupid ankle, can you go a bit faster!" She opened a drawer next to her and searched for ambrosia. After having emptied the whole drawer, she finally found some and took a small bit out of it's package, putting the rest bakc into the drawer.

Elizabeth got into the tent grinning, carried by Andromeda. The pain in her ankle was still there but had faded away a little bit with the time and the fun she just had.

Kate was plunged into darkness after Roxane. She only had the time to realize the ground was shaking and that her arrow had apparently not worked before becoming dizzy and losing all her landmarks. She felt lost and didn't like it. This was her first time shadow traveling, she had been plunged into it without warning and was hating every second of it. How could children of Hades simply cope with shadow travel and make it their primary way of transportation? This was something she couldn't understand.

But while she hated it, she also felt grateful for it. It might give them a small advantage on Paris who probably wouldn't be expecting this. And it was faster and somewhat safer than creeping around the arena trying to hide from Paris as well as sneek on her.

"The infirmary tent would be perfect. Thank you." Elizabeth said as she tried to contain her loud laugh, trying to sound regal once again. It just didn't work. At least she knew she wasn't meant for royalty, she was made for fun and it was better this way.

((Oooooooooooooooh ( lol too many "o"s), there could be Orion rising again and wanting to take revenge on Artemis! ))

"Is this how you treat a queen?" Elizabeth asked laughing. But she was already getting ready for the piggyback ride. She moved aside her dagger and strapped it to the back of her belt, she made sure nothing would hurt Andromeda and jumped on her, supporting all her weight on her uninjured ankle. "Yihaah!" she cried into the night.

The fact that they had both missed was already forgotten for her. She was happy and having fun and that's all that counted right now.

Kate was observing Paris this whole time and started panicking a bit when she saw her closing her eyes and really concentrating. Calm down, calm down, she told herself. But it was so hard.
She didn't know what Paris was capable of. She didn't know if she could control water easily. She didn't know if she could somewhat create an earthquake. If she wanted to act, she'd have to do it now. It was her only chance.

She took her bow in her hands, placed the arrow and shot in Paris's direction hoping it would explose as it was supposed to. If it worked, Paris should fall asleep. If it didn't, well Paris will attack them without a doubt.

Elizabeth feigned exasperation but cracked up laughing, "coming!" She shouldered her bow, smiling and pushed herself off the branch. She was ready. As soon as she felt the floor, she rolled and softened the fall.
"Now, a winner must be treated like a queen, so come and take me up to the infirmary," she said in a voice she tried to make arrogant and regal but simply failed. She couldn't help grinning and smirking, she would have to practice her acting skills. The thought made her laugh, like it would one day help her to feign being a princess when facing a monster, this was simply ridiculous.
And then, chuckling inside, she thought of the fact that Andromeda could pick her up like a potato sack if she wanted to. Head down and feet up. What a scene that would make!

Kate's smile vanished from her face and she pulled Roxane down with her and the wood flew over them. This is probably getting a bit too intense, she thought but she didn't try in any way stopping the battle. She knew it wouldn't have been fair to team up with someone when against a single hunter but Paris was a daughter of Poseidon, one of the most powerful and skilled hunter right now and their pair compensated with her powers.
"This isn't going to be easy," Kate said to Roxane, "we have to find a way to be undercover but still be able to shoot her." She quickly scanned the arena, was there any place like the one she just described?
She thought of the rows of benches, right next to them but they wouldn't have a good view of Paris and her actions which could be dangerous.
She noticed Paris putting water on her shield, she didn't know what that meant but it wouldn't be anything good. She shouldered her bow still in her hands, ready to shoot if needed and took back out her dagger.

Kate's brain was thinking fast, trying to find a way to win without too much pain and effort. Then an idea struck her, she was a hunter after all and bows were her main weapon.
She smiled at herself and her bow appeared at her shoulder at her will. Taking it, she tried the string, it was perfect. She felt the quiver full of arrows on her back and snatched one she had made with a child of Hypnos once. It was the perfect occasion to try it. And beside, who had said anything about no special weapon?
She ran after Roxane and grabbed her arm, hoping she would understand she had to stay back just a few seconds.

Elizabeth cried in triumph. "Yessss!"
She had made it. She had made it. She had made it! How was that even possible? She had hundreds of years of practice behind her but still, this was simply an impossible task!
She couldn't stop grinning and smiling. She was extremely happy, overjoyed, even the wasps buzzing around her didn't bother her anymore. She whispered to herself, "I made it! I really made it!"
She made a quick prayer to Artemis, thanking her for this victory, thanking her for helping her and the hunters achieve their dreams and keep on getting better.

Kate who was watching the two girls fight with a glint of amusement in her eyes saw Paris's kick coming towards her too late. She managed to stay on her feet but then Paris continued. She pushed and pulled the shield. This was too much, Kate managed not to fall but wasn't able to get a tight grip onto the shield.

And it clattered to the floor in front of her.
