The constant chanting tells the reader that the boys have gone insane and that they lost their innocence and have turned into savages.

I think it is because he is kind of the quiet kid and that doesn't do much so he thought that he would give him a special role.

He is different now because at the start of the book he was chill and fun and didn't take his job seriously but now he realised how serious it is a is taking it more seriously.

I think that it means that we all kind of have a beast side of us and it comes out at the wrong time.

Most of the boys see Piggy as a fat outsider with no good ideas but Piggy is definitely smarter and kinder than any of the boys and deserves more respect than he gets.
Ralph and Jack: one represents savagery and the other civilisation. Which is which? How do you know?

Ralph represents the civilisation because he believes someone will save them and he wants to stay more organized. Where-as with Jack he represents savagery because all he wants to do is kill pigs and not be organized.

Ralph doesn't care about anyone else ideas besides his and Jacks. this is shown when Ralph doesn't take Piggy's ideas on page 36 of the eBook.
I think that it that boys treat Piggy really rudely Ralph shouldn't have told the boys that people use to call him that even though Piggy said not to tell anyone.

I agree with this rating because I would give the book a 4-star rating because it is interesting but can become a little repetitive.

If I choose someone to act in a movie for the book The Monkey King I would choose: Ross Butler because he will portray any of the characters well.
The theme of my book is about a girl whos has had alcohol and drug abuse and that about her relationships that aren't perfect.
