The Lightning Thief was worse to me. After I got past the awful casting, I was able to focus on how badly they messed up the story! Yippy! At least in the Sea of Monsters they made an attempt at fixing the casting! I loved the books though, and will most likely see the next movie that comes out. I torture myself, but I can't help it! ;)

Alrighty people! I have had no internet for the past three days, and I finished the book on the first of the three. Sorry I haven't been on! X( It's been killing me not being able to get on here and discuss! I think I will be reading the series. I agree that none of the characters were just amazing, but I appreciated the mystery and the laid back pace at which it unfolded. Some people might find it a bit slow, but there were just enough moments of action to keep me reading. The love story part of the book, I wasn't all that enthralled with, but I thought it was cute and heart warming how it ended. I completely like Patch because of the ending!!! :) Overall, good book!

I have to agree! That dark hair and smile would drive me insane. (in the best way possible)

OOOOH! Good! I was hoping I would. I find it hard to resist the dark mysterious characters, but he was making it a little difficult. I know what you mean. Nora needs to learn how to be a little more in your face. She let's Vee drag her around and be a sucky friend.

I can't decide if I like Patch or not. The ending shall tell I hope! :)

I'm now on page 303. So far, my consensus is that I am glad I read it. It was good enough to keep me up well past midnight turning pages, so I would give it three to four stars at this point. After the I read the ending, however, I may drastically change that rating. Be it for better or for worse, I have learned that the ending of a book can change the entire thing. At this point, I would read the second one. :)

I just got the book yesterday! I'm on page 70, and so far, it's been pretty good. Not too slow, but not in your face action all the time. I will continue reading!!! :)

The south gets out earlier, so we start sooner. It's better for us at the beginning because we're out while everyone else is still in school! XD

My summer officially ended today! First day of school!!! =D Other than that, yesterday was the most eventful day of my entire summer!!!! Made me a bit giddy. XD I did not watch pll last night. I don't think I've ever seen it.

I have to go to sleep now. Tomorrow's my first day of school!!! :D It was very nice talking with you, and I hope to do it again tomorrow! Good night! (Or Good Morning rather for your time! ;) )

lol! Oh, just wait,.... I'm home schooled, so I'm like the double geek! I'll try to talk to kids about books and they'll just look at me like that and say, "I don't read." I just walk away. XD

I haven't, but I think it's on my to read list. I have a never ending to read list. XD You can never read too many books! Today, someone asked me if I wanted to hang out somewhere where I was comfortable, and I said Barnes and Noble! Bahahaha! My book nerd was showing all over the place! XD

Don't be! Everyone feels so awkward when they ask me, and I'm always like it's completely fine! I guess when you only put initials, you confuse people! lol! :)
