1098313 Happy Saturday all!! We are meeting tomorrow October 4th to finish up “The Immortalists.” Our house is open for visitors if you’d like to come in person, if not we will be calling you to join the FaceTime at 7pm as per usual. Make sure you have a question, comment or concern to bring to the table. Also, our next book is Gabby’s pick, “The Untamed” by Glennon Doyle, so if you haven’t got that yet get on it!! I’m super excited to hear everyone’s thoughts on the end of this one, I think we will have a lot to discuss on Sunday!!

Let me know if you have any time conflicts on Sunday, if you do maybe we can figure out a work around.

1098313 Happy Tuesday! i hope that all of you are safe and breathing moderately healthy air (because that's really the best we can hope for at this point). This week we are starting our fourth book, "The Immortalists" by Chloe Benjamin. It's roughly about 343 pages so our stopping point for this coming week should be around 170. I think we will be gaining some new people this time around so please be on your best behavior (**cough, cough BRANDON**). Our meeting time is 7PM on Sunday 9/20. Be sure to bring a question, comment or concern to discuss with the group. Most importantly don't forget your drink ;).

Side note: If anyone is up for it or in the area our house is open for book club!

1098313 Hello All!
I know I’m super late with updates this time around but sometimes that’s life. Anyways, we are meeting up TONIGHT at 7PM. We are not home this week so everyone will have to FT in. I will call y’all starting at 7. We are discussing the last portion of the “Hollow Kingdom.” Come prepared with your questions or comments. I’m excited to hear all your thoughts one the last bit of the book! Looking forward to seeing all of your faces 😊.

P.S. I don’t have any alcohol on hand so this is the ONE time I will allow a reprieve from alcohol consumption....

1098313 Hello all! I hope your week has been going well. This time around we are starting on a new book, "Hollow Kingdom" by Kira Jane Buxton. Super excited about this one because it is set in Seattle!! Buxton is also a local author who apparently has a close relationship with a legit crow (she seems super cool on twitter). We are meeting on Sunday August 23rd at 7pm (unless we run into any issues time wise just let me know). As always our house is open, and bring your questions and or comments for discussion. I have also been noticing that not enough people are drinking during these meetings which is drastically disappointing. Please commit to being a team member by slowly killing your liver in solidarity with us. Thank you! Can't wait to see you all.

1098313 Hello! I hope you all are having a great week! We are part way through Daisy Jones (Unless you're Gabby who sat down and finished the whole thing right after book club), which means we need to read to the end for this up coming meeting. As always bring a question or thought you'd like to discuss. Again we have the playlist available both on Apple music and Spotify, which if you're bored you should listen to because it's a freaking bop. Our next meeting will be Sunday August 9th at 7PM. Bring yourselves and your booze ;)

Also, our next book will be "Hollow Kingdom" by local author by Kira Jane Buxton. It takes place in Seattle and in Kate's own words "..."Hollow Kingdom" is a glorious Seattle receptacle where “Zombieland”,“Happy Feet”, and “The Truth About Animals” are tossed together with the anthropomorphized voices of the urban animal kingdom."

1098313 REPOST BECAUSE I FUCKED UP AND DELETED THE FIRST ONE:
Hello! We have officially moved on to book two, "Daisy Jones and the Six" by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Our plan is to read to about half way, so roughly about 170 pages. If you don't make it that far no worries just be prepared for spoilers. we will be meeting on Sunday July 26th at 7PM. As always if you are in Seattle Please feel free to come in person, otherwise FT in. Bring a question, or point of view that you would like to discuss. Also there is a playlist associated with this boo on both Apple Music and Spotify! This playlist has all the songs mentioned in the book (that are real I'm assuming) and a couple that fit the time period. If possible try to link a comment of question to one of the songs.

Side Note: If anyone watches the show "Little Fires Everywhere" and would like to comment on that we can do that before discussing Daisy jones :)

1098313 Hello Friends!! Just to recap really quickly, we had our first book club meeting today and it went really well! We each brought a question to the table and that ended up as great conversation and discussion. Therefore we are going to continue that trend. The next meeting will be Sunday July 12th at 7pm. If your in town and would like to come in person our house is open for visitors, if not please FaceTime in. We will be finishing up the book for next time. Please bring one question that you would like to discuss. As always don’t forget your alcohol! Let me know if you have any questions/comments/concerns.

Also side note: book number two will most likely be “Daisy Jones and The Six.” By Taylor Jenkins Reid, in case you’d like to get a jump on that one!
