S.C.’s comments from the All About Books group.

I studied this book at school and loved it. The characters are so well developed and Dickens really is a master writer of time and place. Great idea to revisit.

While I did enjoy it to a certain extent (the writing was good) , I think that there were a few plot holes where belief had to be suspended which annoyed me. It could have been really brilliant.
