111319 I started East of West and loved it, but the fatigue of new parenthood or something has caused me to lose touch with it.

111319 Also, Ten47pm, you should. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

111319 Last night in the hang-out we talked about some of our favorite westerns. Movies mentioned were Tombstone, Silverado, and Unforgiven. Anyone have some they want to add?

111319 I imagine most people have at least watched episode 1 by now. I love it. I was surprised by its darkness and brutality, but it seems perfect for the storytelling. Daredevil, Hell's Kitchen, and all of the characters seem appropriately gritty. Definitely different from the other Marvel movies and TV shows so far. Big props to Marvel for having the courage to go this route.

What are you thoughts about the show?

111319 Thanks, Alex. I'm already 100% hooked on this title, but a note in case you want to get me interested in other titles - Don't mention Wolverine. I'm half joking, but like I said in the hang-out, Wolvie has gone from one of my all time favorites to a turn-off. Still love the character but it seems he's in everything now. I'd like to see other characters. Ms. Marvel is a great example why.

111319 I haven't seen the TV show, "Gotham." I'm curious how it compares to this month's pick. I'm aware there are some big differences, but I'm wondering about tone, setting, etc.

111319 I think my wife would agree with you, Alex. I was never a big Superman fan either, bu there's something about those Superman movies, particularly Superman and Superman II, that are such a part of my childhood.
