111707 No. not the reluctant dragon. This one was quite frightening. The story was for children and had pictures of the boy and girl running through the woods.

I think it might have been more a cloud than a dragon. It was for children, did have pictures and formed and reformed in the sky while the boy and girl were running away. I was only about 7 when we read it!

111707 My father once read a story to me when I was very young (1940's) about a cloud-like dragon who chased two children, I have never forgotten it and never found it again. Any help?
111707 Great post. I started with short stories, graduated to poetry, then wrote six novels and am now trying my hand at plays ( and a pantomime!) There is a lot to learn when you change disciplines and I know I'm making mistakes but I ran out of ideas for books and this is really fun.

111707 We have eight people in our writing group. The Sea Scribes and it is difficult to talk about what we do without breaking the Group Rules.
I didn't read all of "A Lesson for the Teacher" to the group so some bought a copy. It is great to see their books in print and stops one feeling so alone. I'll try to pick up a copy of a suggested book and wish everyone well. ( That's not promotion, is it?)
111707 I know the sales of my paperbacks as I am the only person selling them but my e book is not KDP so I'll have to wait until I hear from my distributor to find out how many downloads there have been on kindle - unless someone knows a way to find out?
