It might be easier to add the suggested books on this public shared list, so people can submit their own suggestions and vote on other people's recommendations. This way, the good books should bubble up to the surface if we are ever at a loss on what to read next. The monthly vote could then for example be on the top 5 books that have not been read. Although this system will be a bit biased towards the books that have been longer in the list, but it would be a good first step.
