Over the next week I am putting together a list of books for Fiction that have a "hero" in them. In what you've read over the last year, what characters have been a Hero(ine) for you (and what books do they spring from)???

The Sequel "The Rosie Effect" has been (will be?) released! We've ordered lots of copies for the library!

I've drank hot sauce before so this is not a difficult decision, knowing what I'm going into.... :D

Seems nobody wants to discuss this book. I'm having the Hardest. Time. Ever. trying to find discussion questions for tonight.

Finished earlier this week - agree with you about schmaltzy. Feels like this was a "second chance for everyone!" Kind of book.

I listened to the audio and the narrator drove me nuts. He read so deliberately slow and dramatically that it made the book feel dragged out. Also had a hard time remembering Fikry's nationality.

Felt like the book tried to be complex, but was written very simply. I imagine it would have been a faster read for that.all in all, it was ok.

Please include title and author name. Suggestions from meetings and here on Goodreads will be included in the Voting List for the Winter/Spring 2015 selections to be presented for the group's consideration at our November meeting.
