"You don't forget the face of the person who was your last hope" I would recommend this book to people who like to read science fiction and for people who like action. This book can be sad in a way because it's sad that they have to give up their lives for the entertainment of people. I would recommend this book to ages 11 and up and for both genders, it just depends on what you like to read. Some awards this book has won are the following: New Yorks Times best seller, USA Today Best Seller, and 1 On Winter. The Hunger Games is by Suzanne Collins, shes also written other books such as 'Gregor The Overland', 'Cove Under Construction', 'The Underland Chronicals', and more.(less) "

The Graveyard (1 new)
Jan 05, 2014 06:07PM

50x66 This is a book about a boy named bod short for 'Nobody'.When Bod was just a little baby, some man tried to murder him just like he did to Bod's family. Somehow luckily he escaped and crawled out of his crib into a graveyard where he was raised my ghosts. 'When will I be able to go outside the graveyard?' I chose this quote because I thought it was sad how he has to stay in the graveyard all of his life because if he doesn't the man that killed his family will find him and kill him too. This book can be very mysterious and interesting because you want to find out more and more on whats going to happen next in the story. This book is fantasy. This book can also be kind of sad because at times he gets lonely and needs a friend just like everyone does sometimes. I would recommend this book to grades 6th and up. I personally think that both genders would enjoy this book and it kind of depends what kind of genres u like to read.

50x66 I think you did a good job on detailing it. So that way I have a more clear vision on how the book is. Good job!

50x66 How would you feel if you had to be hidden in an attic your whole life? I personally think that this was a very good book. I would recommend it for ages 12 and up.And I'd also recommend this book to both genders. Some other books that Mergret Peterson Haddix the auther of "Among the Hidden" has written are "New York Times" , "The Missing", "Double Trouble" and more. "Of corse he'd never get married. He'd never leave the house." I chose this quote because I think it's really sad that he would never get to live like a normal perosn or get to live his childhood normally, and even act like he doesn't even exisit. One of the awards that Margret has one is called that ALA award, best book for yound adults and more.
The Pearl (1 new)

50x66 Would you keep a pearl that was evil? In my opinion "The Pearl" was a very good book. I would recommend this book to both genders & ages 11 and up. "The little one - the first born - has been poisened by a scorpion." "He requiers the skill of a healer." Is what Kino said to the doctor. Some book awards that John Steinbeck the auther of "The Pearl" has won are,"Nobel Knights" and "America And Americans". Other books that the auther has written are "Tortilla Flat" ,"The forgotten Village" , and "The Grape Of Warth". A book that is compared to the pearl is called "Bombs Away" Written by one Of Steinbeck's friends.
