Honestly, I thought Elliot was involved in it. Idk, there were just subtle hints that I had picked up, like the biscuits, for one. I had been thinking of it ever since they were first mentioned.
But Becca, I did not expect. But I guess I feel bad for her too. If she just owned up what had happened, it would have been so much better for everyone. I mean, it's not like she intentionally killed her. But I can understand how she felt. Can you imagine her feelings when she lived 5 years thinking she had killed her sister? I mean, they weren't close, but killing someone kind of looms on you.
I didn't say I thought Sal was alive. I just said I wished he was, because he seemed like such a nice person.

It was a wholesome ending, wasn't it?

Although I wish somehow Sal would have ended up alive. Like, maybe he was never dead. I am sad he is dead.

And we totally understand, Stuti. We all know how hectic school work can be. *me looking at the literal piles of homework of my desk.*
Okay, fine, I am procrastinating.

I am actually done with the book. It's April 14th here, and I am super busy tomorrow. I have 5 hours worth of classes, and a lot of homework to catch up on. So, I am not going to put any discussions on since I know everything.

Geez, you guys didn't comment anything. Anyway, I completed Chapter 13-18. Idk if you have read Chapter 7-12 since you didn't update, Milind.

Spoilers For Chapter 7-18
The first thing that bugged me about it was how easily Pip ruled out Elliot. I mean, I get his explanation sounded pretty reliable, but he could be lying, right? Just because he said it doesn't mean it's true. I mean, he had a pretty good chance of placing the note on the camp. Secondly, and holy shit, this could be big, what if *pauses dramatically* Sal's friends were lying about the alibi? Everyone said Sal was a nice and calm guy, right? So it has to be pretty major for him to get angry. What if the reason he didn't tell the police the reason they were arguing was because he was protecting Elliot? Elliot could go to prison for statuary rape and of course, he would be defamed, so he was angry at Andie about that.
Also, Max and Andie having a relationship? What do you think about that? And drugs? Holy shit! Maybe Sal knew about the drugs. That's it- I am becoming a detective. Qualification- reading mystery books.

So, since everyone has read Chapter 1-6, I am not going to mention that anymore. I'll just mention further chapters.

Spoilers for Chapter 7-12
New theory- If it is Elliot, then it could be that Sal somehow found out about her relationship with Elliot, and then gotten her to break up. But Andie was a bitch, apparently, so maybe to keep her hold on Elliot, she tried to blackmail him and he killed her. That's why Sal was in a mostly good mood because he thought she had broken up with him. When Andie turned up missing, Sal went to Elliot to confront him and he killed him, and made it look like a suicide. Same goes if it's not Elliot. And secondly, Jason Bell had an affair that he knew she knew about. So, he has a motive to kill her too.
And Stuti, I know! I am weirdly freaking out about her getting a note as well. I just remembered a freaky detail- didn't Stanley, the racist reporter said she had a note in her locker as well? It could be that apart from all this, she had gotten to know something, and they killed her for it. And now, they think if Pip digs in, she'll find the same things.

Spoilers for Chapter 1-6

One, you forget Andie was a teenager, 18 if I remember correctly. If she had run away, Andie probably couldn't have taken care of both her and her little sister. She might have said that she'll come back for her as soon as she's able.
Again, it could be that Andie had gotten away, and not actually been killed. And Jason could have lied about everything, including her being missing, because he would be jailed for abuse, if he doesn't.

Yeah, I mean, they are pretty obvious hints. But then, there is me thinking that they are just too obvious. And then going back and thinking, nope, this could work out well.
In all fairness though, Pip x Ravi would be such a cute pair, wouldn't it be?

Spoilers for Chapter 1-6
The party thing is something they could be lying about. According to the info given, Andie was supposed to pick Jason and his wife at 12:45. I assume his wife knew about Jason's abuse, if this happened, so I don't think she'll have too much problem lying about it, and Becca (Andie's sister) was already afraid of her father, so could be that she told him about the plan.
As for Max, he said he was pretty drunk. Two, he said he was with two others for most of the night, so it could be that she slipped away, and three, it's a night five years ago. Although I do concede that Naomi would have said something.

Side note- this is awesome! I have never had someone to discuss in so much detail. I LOVE this.

Spoiler for Chapter 1-6!

It could be that her father doesn't have her, and she had ran away. But wait, they found her car, right? Could it be that her father caught up with her plan and there was a struggle (hence, the blood) and she ran away to some bus station to get out of here. She lost her phone in the process, and she didn't remember Sal's number to contact him or maybe she didn't want to. Maybe Naomi witnessed it, hence the whole MIA thingy.

This is such an addicting thing, isn't it? I can't wait for the rest of them. As for the murder of Andie, when they said they didn't find the body, my first thought was, maybe she isn't dead at all. From the way Pip wrote it, I think Jason might be abusive to his daughters and that might have caused her to run away. And maybe Jason knew about it. He knew he would likely not see Andie again and referred to her as a figure of his past already, hence the 'was'. And they tried to make this whole plot so that they won't be defamed for it and Sal got the burnt of it, because he was accused. As for Naomi, maybe she found out and they threatened to keep it quiet and she is feeling guilty about it. It fits with her personality, don't you think?

I just completed the six chapters of the day, and damn! They are awesome! She has written it in such a capturing manner. Read it up fast, you two. And Milind, this one was a very good suggestion. Till now, at least.

Same, Milind. I am super busy too. My classes just started for the new session, and everyone's getting geared up for a LONG year. And definitely spoilers need to be mentioned. Maybe we can put up a little note of what chapter we are talking about so if someone hasn't read that chapter, they can skip it.
