hahahahaha... All I had to see was this topic listed for this to be the first group I joined on Goodreads.

ANd Blue, I follow Clint Catalyst on Twitter and he made a comment about Twilight & Count Chocula ,too. It was a while back but 1. he refers to Edward Cullen as "The Glitter Critter," which makes me want to follow him 2 x if I could! & 2. Clint said something to the effect of Count Chocula being more of a vampire than The Glitter Critter (because The Count doesn't "Glitter")

OK, maybe I kind of ruined that one. But also when he was tweeting against "Twi-hards" (his term, tho I stole it) he said "The thing is: vampires who don't suck? REALLY suck" & also "I need something sharper in my life than fake fangs."

It's just I love knowing I'm not the only person who doesn't WANT Goth to be "socially acceptable." I hate that watered-down Hot Topic version... It's like, do those perky Goths even know what the original meaning of the word is?! BARBARIC.

Twilight is about as Barbaric as a Hallmark card...and the film version is "vampire lite" with a closeted lesbian female lead and a Mormon white-wash.

Yes, reading is good...but I vote for a bit more than Us Weekly in book form. (or Flowers in the Attic!)
