Yes, I regularly have more than one book on the go too, but all physical books. Often a non-fiction and two different types of fiction. I try to have a smallish book for commuting and generally carrying around with me, and leave any that are too big to read at home.

I usually have music playing while I read, as otherwise other noises distract me! but it's usually classical, or instrumental at least. I can't do other things while I read, but I do read while commuting.
