When I read it, it was my second time trying to read it because the first time I lost interest because it had such a slow beginning. I’m glad I tried to read it again because I love it!

Also, what’s with shows casting actors in their late 20’s for characters in their teens? So unrealistic and sets teens up for disappointment in their own looks. Teens don’t look like adults!

I think readers are always disappointed with the casting of an adaptation.

Yessss! It’s quite diverse. And with Nina being a bigger girl but totally owning it! Too bad she’s skinny in the TV show.

I read it in September and it’s by far one of the best books I’ve ever read. I’m usually not a fan of the main character being a man - books with badass girl mains are always the best - but this is an exception since Kaz isn’t too big of a MC and everyone else has super important roles that make it seem like there are multiple mains. I guess what makes Kaz the MC is him being the leader. Does that make any sense?

Kingdom of the Wicked was really good. I’m obsessed with Italy and that’s where it took place so that was an added bonus.

At a store or a library? I got the book for Christmas so it’s probably from Indigo online.

You couldn’t get To Kill a Kingdom in Canada Anna? I live in Canada and I was able to read it.

Loved that series, it had a lot of history in it.
•To Kill a Kingdom - I was a little disappointed with this book but I still liked it

•The Beholder
•The Boundless
I don’t recommend that series, it’s super slow and boring. I wasted some of my birthday money on it.

Currently I’m reading The Kiss of Deception but I haven’t really started it because The Beholder put me in a reading slump. I’ve just been reading Wattpad😳.

I can’t wait to read our February book!

Something I really enjoy about To Kill a Kingdom is the pirates. I LOVE pirate books and movies and am always looking for books with them.

I just finished it. I liked it but not a lot. It was a cute story but it couldn’t hold my attention.

I’m about 100 pages in and I have no clue where the stories going to go. I’m glad it’s not predictable - so far.

Umm honestly, I just look at the genres people tag these books on GoodReads. Like, when you click on a book and to the right of your..."And some adult books would be fine, I think age ratings really have to do with the amount of sexual content. Like acotar should have been marked as adult. So books with sex I'm old enough to read but if the sex is super descriptive than it's too adult for me.

Off of my last comment, if the book that’s chosen is too old for me, I can just not read it. So I guess ignore my last comment.

Is it okay if we just read YA books? I’m not quite old enough for adult. If that’s a pain, I can leave this group.
