Probably never going to actually RP this one but here ya go anywaysname of character: Hikaru Tanaka
Quirk Name: Mana Reaper
Quirk Description: With this ability, Hikaru is basically able to put a magic-like hold over something (Has to be a living thing tho) or someone, they will start to die/rot, and Hikaru is able to release the amount of destructive energy harvested in blinding blasts of dark power. Obviously, this is a vague explanation, so let me go into the specifics. Very similar to how Doctor Strange is able to turn time on something so that it will become younger or older in its state of being, Hikaru is able make something grow older. However, the amount of years or any unit of time that he takes off of its life is converted into dark destructive energy that he is able to compress and release into waves/slashes/etc of chaotic death energy. The more life he "harvests" off of the biotic organism (So for example, an apple, an animal, another human being, a monster, a plant, a tree, etc), the more energy is released. As much as scientists and Hikaru himself has tried in the past, the only effect found to be made of this ability is destructive. However, as the source of energy for his ability doesn't have to be an animal or innocent human and also doesn’t have to take all of the years off of someone’s/something’s life, as scary as the ability is, it wasn't registered as an evil quirk. However, more energy can be harvested from humans so just using plants and animals who don't have as much life energy restricted how much power he had before he snapped. He also doesn't have to kill someone/something to take their energy, but he gets the most energy out of doing it.
weaknesses/drawbacks:
~ Hikaru has to be at least 10 feet away from the thing/person he wants to harvest energy off of which makes it pretty annoying
~ He can only harvest energy off of one or two organisms at a time and this is after all the training he put himself through
~ Restoration Quirks
~ His sanity grows weaker every time he harvests and releases a lot of energy. This drawback is still not known to anyone at this point in time, and happens because the life energy from whichever organism they are using travels into his soul and body and when he releases it, the energy clings onto the energy from his soul and mind, taking some of it whenever it is shot out in whatever way Hikaru discharges it. With meditation and practicing many mental exercises so much so that they are branded into his brain he could learn to reproduce what is being taken from him, but as he is already far gone and nobody knows about this yet, it seems unlikely that it will happen.
~ Doesn't work on abiotic things / objects that aren't organisms
~ Again, the effects can be reversed by quirks that restore life or something like that as well as other time-influencing quirks
~ Large uses of this quirk weakens Lucian A LOT which is why after an attack, there is no sight of him for about 3 weeks to about a month and a half.
~ This was mentioned before in the description of Lucian's power, but even though he can take life energy from plants and lesser animals, the power harvested isn't a lot compared to the energy taken off of monsters and humans.
~ Can't work on the undead but the compressed energy Lucian releases from harvesting life does work to attack them
~ Did I mention that it makes him insane already? this ability can literally turn the brightest heroes of people into villains because of the sheer soul and mind energy it's taking from them. Use the power enough without the needed control and restoration through meditation and the like, and this ability will literally kill you except it makes it a lot more torturous. You just won't know that until it's too late.
Type of Quirk: Emitter
Other: Basically, the years/time Hikaru is taking from people/things is mana, but he calls it life energy (Which is essentially still mana but eh), and the exchange from mana to power is made inside of his body which is why it takes both a great mental and physical toll on him.
Also, could I maybe just try to RP with Haru now and finish his template later?

She stole a glance at Kami to see what he would do, before moving her gaze back while her brain tried to function. “Ah, funny joke, haha..” She awkwardly played off with an even more awkward grin. If she wasn’t madly in love with Kamigawa Bakugo, she wouldn’t be opposed to the idea, but she was, and in most circumstances she would immediately say no, but she could tell that she was just trying to get a rise out of him, even though Kiyo wasn’t sure if it would work.

Quirk ideasElectro-shield = Holder of quirk uses kinetic and electric energy around them to force into a sphere-shaped field around them, and with this, they can block physical attacks and electrocute those who touch it. Keeping this shield up takes A LOT of energy, it forces your fighting style to be primarily defensive, and if you use it for too long, you'll drop unconscious for a while. The quirk holder's Hero Name will be "Force Field."
