This sounds like ethos because the mom knows about protecting her kids.
If i were the child i would listen and look for another place if we are hiding.

Zia is trying to persuade sarah that she has powers. She is telling her that she is from a ancient family of people who do magic. She is starting to believe she has powers.

My character said a really good sentence about how when adults tell you to tell the truth and you do they think your lying. I like this sentence because it true ,because many adults do this.
