I just finished reading another book by this author in another series. The heroine in this series was Adele Sharp. I found it to be very similar to the book we read in book club....FBI agent, or at least an agent; there were even a couple of references to serial killers. It started off really slowly, but did pick up my interest as it went along. However, I don't think I'll read any more of these books.

I finished the book! I guess that says something about how I felt about it. I did stop reading in the middle and read another recent release by my favorite author, JD Robb. But I was able to pick right back up where I left off in Girl Alone. I am going to look for another book by Blake Pierce, probably in a different series. I need a new author to read! So overall, book was not too bad, not great, but an ok read!
